Fill-level sensors and monitoring
Telemetry · Bunder Waste
Fill-level sensors measure how full each island node is in near real time: they show which points to empty first, flag overflow risk early and send vehicles only where service is needed, cutting empty runs and visible overfills. On request they integrate on Bunder bells, litter bins and accessories; options include Sensoneo sensors with data and alerts in CleanCityManager.
- Function
- Fill level, alerts and data for planning
- Contexts
- Underground, semi-underground, above-ground and accessories
- Integration
- Hardware and software on request per tender
- Connected systems
- Sotkis on APTO, Sensoneo/CleanCityManager, WasteMate and export to operator software
Performance and benefits
Fill level
Telemetry
priority on saturated nodes and fewer empty runsvs calendar-only collection
Thresholds and history to plan interventions.
- Overflow alerts before the island is full
- Support for fewer empty collection runs
- Useful data on tourism and high-variability nodes
Platform
Integrated
alerts can feed dispatch and route planningvs data stuck on a dashboard
Export to operator management software.
- Links to dispatch and vehicle planning
- RFID access and Sotkis on APTO where specified
- Pilot on a few nodes with measurable KPIs
Compatibility
Bunder range
sensors on Bunder underground, semi-underground, above-ground and accessoriesvs generic retrofit
Configuration per tender and site context.
- Underground and semi-underground bells, Bell-e and compactors
- Secomat screening and ECOABRI shelters
- Maintenance and connectivity defined in contract
Description
- Fill levelLevel sensors, overflow alerts and history for seasonal analysis and high-variability nodes.
- Access (optional)RFID, cards or readers coordinated with hatch opening and event logs, aligned with Sotkis on APTO.
- PlatformExport to dispatch and route planning; levels in CleanCityManager (Sensoneo) or the operator’s existing management software.
- CompatibilitySolutions for underground and semi-underground bells, above-ground Bell-e units, platforms, Secomat, ECOBAC and compacting litter bins.
- PilotStart with 5–15 high-impact nodes and written KPIs before scaling the sensor network.
- TenderConnectivity, power, maintenance, offline behaviour and data responsibilities; telemetry complements capacity and contractual frequencies, it does not replace them.

Frequently asked questions
Does every container need a sensor?
No. Prioritise islands or litter bins with high fill variability, costly empty runs or tender requirements. Scale only after a pilot with measured indicators.
Does a sensor remove scheduled collections?
Not automatically. Level data supports decisions when the operator sets thresholds, intervention processes and minimum contractual or regulatory frequencies.
Are sensors and access control the same project?
No. Fill monitoring and user identification to open the hatch are separate projects that can coexist on one island with coordinated hardware and software.
How do we start a project?
Share candidate islands or points, management platform (CleanCityManager or other) and goals (fewer empty runs, overflow alerts, PAYT). Bunder Waste aligns configuration, technical sheets and service level commercially.
How can I get the technical datasheet or brochure?
Up-to-date datasheets, brochures and design data are not available for download on this site. Contact Bunder Company via the contact page or email info@bunder.it; the Bunder Waste team will send the documentation for this product and your specification.
