Containers on underground platforms feature external deposit towers in various designs. They are available in galvanised steel or stainless steel and can be configured for every source-separated waste fraction.
Operators can collect waste from platform-based underground containers using the same conventional rear-loading compactors already in service.
The underground wheeled-bin system is raised by a pantograph driven by two cylinders. Platform operation is ensured by an electro-hydraulic circuit.
Fluid for the circuit can be supplied by a pump integrated into the system or directly from the collection vehicle, if fitted with the appropriate connector.
